A Twofer!

Aren't you the lucky ones! Two separate challenges today for you to earn points in the ongoing Spread the Love Challenge!

I originally did this layout (first page) for the sketch challenge but my challenge for you is to incorporate a LARGE shape on your page - whatever shape you'd like, circle, square, rectangle, heart - anything goes as long as it is at least 10 inches big one way (honor system!)...

10 points for completing the challenge, and 15 for using a Sussies kit! Be sure and upload your layout to the Sussies gallery and link us up!

Happy scrapping! I'm trying (very badly!) to prepare for the Sussies Scrapbook Retreat this weekend. I have yet to print pictures, pull papers or anything!!! So for a bonus(2 points) tell me how you'd get ready for a 3-day crop leaving Thursday afternoon!

  1. I'd grab my tool tote (scissors, pens, adhesives, trimmer, corner rounder, distresser & ink), grab my photos (have them printed and pick up the one hour ones) and grab my Sussie kits. Maybe a little extra neutral cardstock and some alphas too.

    Have fun!!!!

  2. Ruth had a great list, just make sure you have refills for your adhesive. The only other thing is comfy clothes for 3 days of scrappy fun. I hope you all have an awesome time!!!

  3. I'd quick upload some pics, grab a crate and stash the essentials in there, like my atg, cutter, a few xtra thicker sheets and like Ruth, my Sussies kits and I should be all set! (oh and I'd grab my Weight Watcher snacks too!)

  5. Just finished my layout for this challenge and uploaded it to the Sussies Gallery here: http://www.scrapbooksussies.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=0

In a pinch I always grab photos and a couple of kits, neutral cardstock, trimmer, scissors, and adhesive. I try to keep a crop bag with basic tools at the ready all the time in case of a last minute invite to a crop.

  6. get some cropper hopper folders, put a sussies kit in each along with the pics you want to use, then an extra one for extra cardstock. For your bigger tools and such, use a sterlite container with handle (walmart baby!!) they have one that is the perfect size to put all of your essentials plus some ink pads and stamps if need be.

  7. Ok, i'm going to say something totally different, but here's what i'd do.

print any sketches or challenges you want to use and place that, plus whatever pics you want for one layout, in the kit bag, that way you can pull out your kit and be all ready including pics! don't forget adhesive, cutters, scissors, etc!

    and here's my layout

  10. Okay - just noticed that my post does not have a correct link in it. Here's a correct link and I used the January 2008 Sussies kit.
