Sneaky Sneaky

Quick post for you here today on this Friday. I have a small sneak for you today.


I made those flowers using the beautiful patterned papers in the March kit, with my SLICE. And those little Bo Bunny jewels are the perfect touch!
I probably shouldn't admit this, but I'm still working on the rest of my pages for the reveal on Monday! ackk! So back to work I go! At least this work is tons of fun!!

Color Decisions

Do you ever look at a photo and really have difficulty deciding what color paper you want to use with a layout? Well, I have found an awesome tool to help you with this! It is called a Color Palette Generator. You download a photo that you have, and it will create a color palette for you! The below photo is a screen shot of what the palette looks like from a picture of my daughter. I know that allot of the times I will pick the obvious color- like pink for the example, but wouldn't it be fun to see those light blues or grays for paper choices.

Well, here is a sneak of a layout I've started for this months kit! It's mostly done, depending on how the second page goes but I may add some more embellies to tie the two pages together!

When I actually printed the pics for this layout, I had planned on one page being for the camel and one for the petting zoo. But I didn't like how the pictures laid out on each side so I threw them all together! This layout is going to be very symmetrical :) but the engineer in my likes that!

I did grab a few things not in the kit - a small brown scrap piece of paper to mat the picture and the green buttons. I just love Talia in that picture!

Hope it makes you look forward to the kit :) and I can't wait to see what YOU do with it!

OK, I confess. I have had my kit a week and haven't had time to break into it yet after the initial oohing and ahing when I first got it. I was so excited to get the Bo Bunny line which I couldn't find in any other kit or at Archiver's!
